I drew this in 2011 two years after I was refused sickness benefits and had to appeal , despite having three doctor’s letters to support me. I had to push myself to keep working when I should have been resting - this situation leaves many people unable to fully recover - it perpetuates the illness due to post-exertional malaise (PEM).
